Very simple! What you pay is what you get! I used $40/hour movers and I used $75/hour movers. Guess what, 40/h: late, late, late, slow, small truck and demanded all kinds of extra charges. However, $75/hour movers were ontime, professional, notified about all charges and had a very big truck. Just get movers with rates between $65-$75 and you won’t have any problems.

I don’t think the BBB is very reliable. I had to take a moving company (one of the primary colours…) to small claims court because of a scammy move. In addition to my suit they had an additional eight suits filed against them just in that year. However, the BBB has them graded as A+. People are better off reading online reviews.

My co-worker referred First Choice Mover to move our 4 bedroom house. We were very happy with their service and professionalism. This was my second move and to be honest you get what you pay for. These guys might not be the cheapest but you’ll have peace of mind. We highly recommend them, call them you won’t regret. Their number is 416-876-9400 http://firstchoicemover.ca
